About Ilona
Ilona Bobrytska (b. 1997, Ukraine) is a contemporary visual artist living and working in California, USA. Holding a Master’s degree in Monumental Art, she creates expressive abstract-figurative paintings that explore femininity, transformation, emotion, and the subtle dialogue between memory and time. Her visual language is built on bold color, movement, and light, resulting in atmospheric and emotionally charged compositions.
Drawing on her European art education and her experience in the United States, Ilona has developed an intuitive and sensitive approach to painting. Alongside her large-scale works, she creates small-format pieces—intimate fragments where ideas and states take on a more concentrated form. Her paintings have been exhibited in Ukraine, Europe, China, and the United States, and are held in private collections worldwide, inviting viewers into a space of reflection and personal resonance.
